Birding Pal Terms and Conditions
Birding Pal 1. Description of Service: Birding Pal provides a platform for members to connect with one another. We facilitate contact through an anonymized messaging system that protects the privacy of our members' email addresses. 2. Subscriptions and Payments: Access to contact members requires an active subscription. The fee is $10.00 USD per year, processed through PayPal or Stripe. This subscription grants you a passphrase to use our contact system. Subscriptions may be set to renew automatically unless canceled. 3. User Listings: Members have the option to be publicly listed on our site to be contacted by other members. This is an opt-in feature. You can choose to enable or disable your public listing at any time through your account settings. 4. Member Conduct: You agree to use our service responsibly. You will not use the service for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, or to send spam. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who violate these terms. 5. Messaging System: Our system forwards messages between members via email while keeping both parties' email addresses hidden. As stated in our Privacy Policy, these messages are not encrypted. Do not send sensitive information through this system. We are not responsible for the content of messages exchanged between users. 6. Limitation of Liability: Birding Pal provides a platform for connection, but we are not responsible for the interactions between our members. We do not vet members and cannot be held responsible for any outcomes resulting from interactions initiated through our service. The service is provided "as-is" without any warranties. 7. Termination: You may cancel your subscription and terminate your account at any time.
