Local Birdwatchers
Using the Birdingpal resources you must agree to the following: If you contact a local Birdingpal and make arrangement to go birding, you should note it is common courtesy to make sure you show up for the appointment. If for any reason you are unable to do this, the least you must do is contacting the local Pal right away.
Please note that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. It is a privilege to contact them, and your message should reflect it. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. A lunch and/or a small gift would also be appropriate, something as simple as a souvenir of your country, or a pin from your local birding club.

Milwaukee and the area has some great birding spots. Since I am a teacher I may be more available in the summer if I'm not traveling myself.

Madison has lots of parks and some pretty good birding areas, particularly during migration, and it's close to a wide variety of habitats. I'm a long-term birder of average skills, and bird a great deal during the spring migration, but much less regularly the rest of the year.

Approx. 1 hour NW of Madison Richland county area is quite a birding hotspot. We have around 200 species recorded in the county. We're 20 min from the Kickapoo Reserve, an Hour and a half from Necedah NWR and 30
min from the Spring Green preserve. I know the Richland County area like the back of my hand and know where the birds can be found and when. I have set up a website about birding in Richland County and have listed some of the best birding spots.
