Local Birdingpal Contacts
Local Birdwatchers
Using the Birdingpal resources you must agree to the following: If you contact a local Birdingpal and make arrangement to go birding, you should note it is common courtesy to make sure you show up for the appointment. If for any reason you are unable to do this, the least you must do is contacting the local Pal right away.
Please note that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. It is a privilege to contact them, and your message should reflect it. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. A lunch and/or a small gift would also be appropriate, something as simple as a souvenir of your country, or a pin from your local birding club.

I can show you the most interesting habitats and places in Cracow and the whole southern Poland. In the mountains and its foothills you will see for example 9 species of woodpeckers, Golden and Lesser Spotted Eagle, Ural Owl, quite common Red-backed Shrike, Corncrake and 4 species of flycatchers. These are several out of numerous species you can admire, let alone unique habitats, landscapes, altogether with forgotten villages when the time has stopped. Im also an ardent photographer, so when you ask me, I can send you photos of the places, you have to see visiting Poland.

In Warsaw and around the city (central Poland) there are a lot of parks, forests, meadows, small rivers and ponds. The most richness areas near Warsaw are: the Kampinoska Primeval Forest and the valley of Wisla (Vistula) River with Zegrzynskie Lake (artificial, storage reservoir for water on the river).
