Nastou View Hotel Ano Poroia, Serres This location is near the Kerkini Lake (one of the wetlands that are protected form the Ramsar convention). Over 300 bird species can be observed in the area: flamingos, cormorants, cranes, Dalmatian pelicans, ducks, storks are some of them. During the year the fowl species that are hosted differs. Lily pads can be seen at the banks of the lake, while in the nearby forest live herds of buffalos.
