"Professional Birdingpal guides around the world"

Birdingpal

Birdingpal is well established global website for traveling birders, helping you find local contacts and information
about birdwatching, and it list, many local birdwatchers around the world willing to help a visitor, as well as local
professional birdwatching guides. Going on a business trip, to a conference or on vacation? Have a bit of extra time?
Don’t waste it. Go birdwatching and enjoy the safety and knowledge of a local birder. You do not need to be a Birdingpal
to contact a Pal, but you should be aware that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. It is a privilege to contact them,
and your message should reflect it. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their
own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. A lunch and/or a small gift would also be appropriate, something
as simple as a souvenir of your country, or a pin from your local birding club.

As Birdingpals often say “a stranger is just a birder you haven’t met yet”
and many new friendships around the world have been made birding with a local Pal.
